A Mid-Year Success!

The 2008 CFC mid-year presentation held at the Kalayaan Cultural Community Centre in Mississauga, Ontario last July 12, 2008 was a manifestation of God’s amazing grace and blessings demonstrated by the works and accomplishments of CFC and its family ministries, GK and Pro-Life.

Each chapter, representing all ministries in the Greater Toronto Area, shared how it successfully thrived through the first six months of the year. Both leaders and members were present to witness and admire the creative and colourful presentations prepared by each chapter. Powerful PowerPoint presentations captured the attention of those present. This piece of technology added interest in delivering the message. Emotions ran high as pictures of brothers and sisters praying together, working side by side during CFC activities was shown. Milestones were achieved in 2008. Everything was very positive, promising and inspiring.

The GK presentation of brother Rico Tingin instilled in us the joy and pride of being a part of this humble and worthy cause. CFC Canada has something to be proud of – the country with the largest number of GK child sponsorship compared to all other GK countries. Oh Canada!

The day ended with praise and worship to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Brother Ouel Gardon led us to a mini-praise fest that heralded the presence and work of the Lord Almighty in our midst. CFC members and leaders left the venue feeling good and excited about the future, and with one mission in mind – to make the last quarter of 2008 end with a bang!
